The QM6 is the Korean name for the Renault Koleos, a mid-size family SUV that rivals the Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento and Nissan X-Trail. It was one of the best-selling SUVs in Korea for years, which means used stock is deep and prices stay friendly. Korea also loves the LPG version, a car you almost never find on other markets.
It drives in a calm, easy way rather than a sporty one, with light steering and a quiet cabin made for long motorway trips. Inside you get a big upright dashboard, a large portrait touchscreen on higher trims and a roomy boot. The standout is running cost. The LPG engine is cheap to fuel and the whole car is simple and cheap to keep.
