The 718 is Porsche's small mid-engine sports car, sold as the Cayman coupe and the Boxster roadster. It lines up against the Jaguar F-Type, the Audi TT RS and the BMW M2, and few of them handle as sweetly. From Korea it is a strong buy because these are recent, low-mileage cars that still cost less than the same spec in Europe, and the higher trims are getting rare.
With the engine in the middle, it turns in fast and feels planted through corners. The flat-six GTS 4.0, GT4 and Spyder sound glorious and pull hard. Inside it is snug and driver-focused, with clear dials and good seats. The standout is the balance. It feels alive in a way bigger, heavier cars never quite match.
