The GLS is Mercedes' biggest and grandest SUV, often called the S-Class of SUVs. It seats seven in real comfort and rivals the BMW X7 and Range Rover. In Korea it sells to buyers who want space and status, so used stock includes well-kept examples and even the ultra-luxury Maybach version. For a large seven-seater, Korea can offer strong value.
The cabin is huge, quiet, and richly finished, with a proper third row that adults can use. The Maybach GLS600 goes further with reclining rear seats and its own trim. The diesel GLS400d is the sensible cruiser, the GLS450 and GLS580 add petrol power, and the Maybach sits at the very top. All are 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
