The GLA is the compact SUV version of the A-Class and Mercedes' smallest crossover. It rivals the Audi Q3 and BMW X1. In Korea it sold as an easy first SUV in the brand, so used cars are common and affordable. It is a practical way into a Mercedes SUV without the size or cost of the bigger models.
It sits higher than the A-Class for a better view out and easier entry, while keeping the same neat twin-screen cabin. The GLA200 and GLA250 are calm daily drivers, and the AMG GLA45 turns the little SUV into a genuine hot performer with a strong turbo engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive on the stronger trims.
