The CLS created the four-door coupe idea and is the elegant sibling of the E-Class. Mercedes stopped building it after 2023, so it is no longer new anywhere, which makes the used market the only place to buy one. It rivals the Audi A7. Korea holds a good stock of these from its final years, often well kept.
The long, low roof and frameless doors give it a special look that the E-Class does not have. Inside it shares the E-Class dashboard and wide screens, with a quieter, more private feel in the back. The diesel CLS300d and CLS400d are strong long-distance cars, the CLS450 adds a smooth six-cylinder, and the AMG CLS53 is the fast one.
