The CLA is a four-door coupe based on the A-Class. It trades some rear headroom for a sleeker, lower roofline, and it rivals the Audi A3 sedan and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe. In Korea it appealed to younger buyers who wanted style, so clean used cars turn up often. It is one of the most affordable ways into a stylish Mercedes.
The low, wide dash carries the same twin-screen MBUX setup as the A-Class. On the road the regular CLA250 is smooth and quiet, while the AMG CLA45 S is a full-blown hot four-door with a 2.0 turbo that is one of the most powerful of its size. Front-wheel drive is standard, with 4MATIC on the stronger cars.
