The Gladiator is Jeep's mid-size pickup, built on the Wrangler but with an open bed at the back. It stands apart from trucks like the Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma because it keeps the Wrangler's real off-road hardware and removable roof and doors. Sourcing one from Korea makes sense because these were rare and well kept there, so the used stock is clean.
On the road it feels tall and planted, and off the road it climbs and wades better than almost any pickup. The cabin is upright and simple, with a tough finish that shrugs off mud and sand. The standout is that you get a real truck bed and a real rock crawler in one vehicle.
