The X6 M is the X5 M with a fastback coupe roof. Same V8, same platform, just a lower, sleeker back end and a sportier look. It goes up against the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe, and the Audi RS Q8. Korea is a smart place to find one. It is a style-first choice, so the cars tend to be pampered, low-mileage, and loaded with options.
On the road it feels the same as the X5 M, which is to say fast, planted, and loud when you want it. The 4.4 V8 pulls hard and the chassis stays tight for such a big car. Inside you get the same rich cabin and dual screens, with a bit less rear headroom and a smaller boot opening. The standout thing is the presence. It looks like nothing else in a parking lot.
