The M5 is BMW's full-size super-sedan, the fastest four-door in the range. For the 2023 to 2026 Korean market the headline car is the new G90, out from 2024, which switches to a V8 plug-in hybrid, and it also comes as the M5 Touring wagon. It takes on the Mercedes-AMG GT four-door, the Porsche Panamera, and the Audi RS6. A few early 2023 listings may still be the outgoing F90 Competition. It is a strong Korea buy because a very new, very expensive car shows up loaded and can undercut fresh stock.
The new car drives quiet and smooth in electric mode, then explosively fast when the V8 wakes up. Inside it is a full luxury sedan, roomy and richly finished with a curved display. The standout is that it can drive short trips on battery alone, then turn into a 700-plus hp super-sedan.
