The M2 is BMW's smallest and cheapest M car, a compact rear-drive coupe built for pure driving fun. This is the new G87, out from 2023, and it shares much of its hardware with the bigger M3 and M4 but in a shorter, tighter body. Rivals include the Porsche 718 Cayman and the Audi RS3. It is a strong Korea buy because clean, low-mileage examples show up in good numbers, and you can still find it as a real manual.
It drives tight, playful, and quick, with a strong six-cylinder engine and a short, keen body. Inside it is snug and driver-focused, with sport seats and a curved twin-screen display. The standout is the six-speed manual option, a rare thing in a fast modern car.
