The i5 is the fully electric version of the 5 Series sedan, built on the G60 platform. It is a mid-size executive car that shares its body with the petrol 5 Series, so it looks familiar and feels grown-up. Rivals are the Mercedes EQE, the Tesla Model S, and the Audi A6 e-tron. Korea is a good place to buy. It is a business-class car that gets careful, low-stress use there, and the strong charging network keeps batteries healthy.
The eDrive40 is smooth, quiet, and long-legged on a charge. The M60 adds a second motor and serious speed while still riding in comfort. Inside it is quiet and modern, with a wide curved screen and plenty of space front and rear. The standout thing is how calm and refined it feels, more like a luxury sedan than a science project.
