The 4 Series is the sporty two-door and four-door take on the 3 Series, sharing its engines and platform but with lower, sleeker bodies. It comes as a Coupe, a Convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It lines up against the Mercedes C-Class Coupe and the Audi A5. It is a good Korea buy because these are often weekend and second cars there, so mileage stays low and condition stays high.
It drives much like the 3 Series, tidy and eager, with the Convertible trading a little sharpness for open-air fun. The interiors match the sedan for quality and tech. The standout is the mix of choices, from an efficient 420d to the wind-in-your-hair Convertible.
